About Us

Desoto Food Forest is a family-owned, pasture-based farm located in Arcadia, Florida. We are a husband-and-wife team, and together, we've been raising chickens as a business in some capacity for nearly a decade. Animal welfare, high-quality food, and environmental stewardship are core passions for both of us. We are committed to growing uncompromisingly high-quality products for our amazing customers—who truly feel like family to us. It’s only through their continued support that we’re able to provide for ourselves by doing what we love.

All of our poultry and eggs are raised on non-GMO, corn- and soy-free feed sourced from Triple M Farms in Lebanon, PA. They supply us with the freshest, highest-quality, glyphosate-free poultry feed available, enabling us to raise some of the best pasture-based proteins in Southwest Florida.

You can find us at the following farmers markets each week:

Sundays (9 AM - 1PM) Year-Round: Fresh Harvest at Wellen Park – North Port

Thursdays (9 AM - 1 PM) October -May: Englewood Farmers Market – Englewood

Orders placed through our website can be scheduled for home delivery in the following areas: Sarasota, Venice, North Port, Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte, and Fort Myers.
